How It Works

Consignment vacation packages from Trips for Charities may be the easiest items that you offer in your next silent or live auction.

Step 1: Select Packages

Choose which destinations will appeal to the most attendees in your event. Our team will be happy to help you choose travel packages to be your biggest crowd-pleasers. Print and display as many as you like. No up-front costs = all packages consigned = no risk to you!

Step 2: Showcase Them in Your Event

Whether your auction is live or silent, our packages will speak to your donors. You can sell as many packages as you like. Do you love one package more than others? Sell it multiple times to as many donors as you like, multiplying your profits as well.

Step 3: Winners Redeem

Once you’ve reported your winners and made payment, we’ll quickly email you the winner’s Congratulations emails. Simply forward those emails to your winners and we’ll take care of the rest.

Your winners have access to both our knowledgeable team of booking specialists, as well as our exclusive online resort selection and reservations system.

COVID-19 Response

We’re Taking Care of Your Donors During COVID-19 ���

During this crisis we are continually working with our partners and suppliers to ensure a safe and smooth booking experience for your donors.

We've always allowed your auction winners a full 18 months from the date of your event to enjoy their vacations. As a standard enhancement, we've also provided your auction winners with the opportunity to extend the package life for up to 6 months beyond the original 18 months, with a payment of a modest extension fee of $199.00 - $299.00. (fee amount is dependent on package type)

Below you will see the changes that we have made and how these changes effect current and future winners.

Book by Date requirements are waived for all SAV Packages

The requirement that travel reservations must be completed within 1 year of the issue date of the package, (Book by Date) has been waived and is no longer in enforced. Due to the uncertainty created by the COVID 19 crisis, reservation requests, or date selections need to be submitted through the SAV Reservations system at least 90 days prior to your requested arrival date. This change applies to all SAV packages without regard to whether or not your package has previously been extended.

Packages Sold Before Jan 1, 2020

As of October 1, 2020, Silent Auction Vacations’ supplier partners have authorized SAV to waive the extension fee for the winners of packages who registered their packages, in accordance with the terms and conditions, on or before the book by date of the package and whose expiration date is on or before March 31, 2021. This will allow these qualified package winners an additional 6 months beyond the original travel by date to enjoy their vacation without the cost of extending the package.

Packages Sold from Jan 1, 2020 to Aug 31, 2020

Due to the uncertainty presented by COVID-19, we're providing the standard 6-month extension free of charge. This will allow your auction winners a full 2 years from the date of your event to enjoy their vacations.

Packages Sold after Aug 31, 2020

Again, due the uncertainty of these times, Silent Auction Vacations has contracted with its supplier partners to provide a full 3-year travel period* for all Silent Auction Vacations packages sold after Aug 31, 2020.
